Manic Monday

Mkay, lemme tell you about my absolutely insane monday. First, I of course had school and work, which I must look fabulous for. Duh. So I pulled off the super Bohemian look with the dark colors and designs, and of course those bracelets. GAH I love stacked bracelets I want them all! And those black boots. Anyways. I looked awesome. Then I went to the FHE for my singles ward with this awkward creature from my Institute class. It was positively horrible. And I will never go again. But I looked cute; laid back. Good for FHE. And then I had homework...ever wonder what Ashlynne looks like at 11:30 at night when she's doing her math homework? Yeah. NOT fabulous. But still, explains my crazy monday. Enjoy the blackmail :)

Reliable

We all need that outfit that is reliably comfortable and foxy for the mornings when we wake up late and need to be somewhere important enough to ditch the sweats you were sleeping in (remember- be prepared to meet someone tall dark and handsome AT ALL TIMES.). This is my reliable outfit for winter; It's super trendy, it's comfortable, but the boots make it look a little more mature, and the cream on gray with the sweater give it that classy feel.

-Skinny Jeans (Rue 21)
-White Cami (Aeropostale)
-Gray/ Cream Striped Boxy Sweater (TJ Maxx)
-Red Chunky Knit Infinity Scarf (Target)
-Brown Leather Boots (TJ Maxx. And for the record, any guy that has ever commented on my apparel has ALWAYS said something about my boots. Typically goes like this: "Ashlynne. Those boots are so hot/ awesome/ sexy. Depending on how daring said boy is feeling that day lol good purchase)
-Stretchy Red Feather Headband

I know my bun is not that fantastic. It's not long enough to do a sock bun; beleive me, the day that happens, the blogging world WILL know.

Church :)

So this last Sunday, I had my regular church meetings in the morning, and then I had a fireside that evening, and the Institute Choir was singing at it (Yup; I'm a choir nerd. Get over it.). I wanted to be positively adorable for my morning meetings. I wore my cupcake skirt, but then my black blazer with it so that I didn't look too much like a little girl. And I pulled my hair half back, that took away from the little girl effect as well. Success, in my opinion.
For the fireside, the choir was all required to wear just black skirts/ slacks and dark toned tops. So I just pulled the classic black and white. And lemme tell you; I looked ridiculously foxy.

Moulin Rouge

Guys. Moulin Rouge is such a fantastic movie. I keep a little journal in my purse with me, and when I think of an outfit, I write it down so I don't forget it (yeah I know I'm way too into this.), and I usually title it, otherwise I would get lost and confused in that little notebook. Anyways, I've figured it that I'm either super indie or super classy lady. Sometimes I wear cowboy boots, becuase they're foxy. But this is one those classy oufits; Good nuetral colors, with bangs of red in the scarf and belt. I titled the outfit 'Moulin Rouge Esque' becuase of the stripes, and the red. Very sassy and sexy.

And then I have sparkly black oxfords. Which I call my Michael Jackson shoes. I just wear those becuase I can. They're from Forever 21.

And that's another sassy headscarf. Lemme tell you, it took some convincing in my head to make me feel awesome enough to wear one. Then I concluded that it doesn't matter; if I wanna wear a silk scarf on my head, it's going to happen. That's all :)
